Cookie policy

What we store on your device, and why.

This policy explains how CozyVale uses cookies and similar browser storage, in line with UK privacy law (PECR and UK GDPR). It sits alongside our privacy policy.

The short version

We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. There's no Google Analytics, no ad pixels and no cross-site tracking here. We only store the few things needed to make the shop work.

What we store

These are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They stay with you and are not used to track you across other sites:

• Your basket (cozyvale_cart) — remembers the items in your cart between pages. Strictly necessary.
• Your language (cv_lang) — remembers whether you chose English, Deutsch or العربية. Functional preference.
• This notice (cv_cookie_ack) — remembers that you've seen the cookie notice, so we don't show it every time.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts & content delivery networks load our fonts and site code. They don't set cookies, but to deliver those files your browser shares technical data such as your IP address with them.
• Payments are taken on our payment provider's own secure page. When you're redirected there to pay, that provider may set its own cookies to process the transaction — under their cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

Managing cookies & storage

Because we only use essential storage, there's nothing to opt out of to keep browsing. If you'd still like to clear or block it, you can do so any time in your browser settings. Please note that clearing this storage will empty your basket and reset your language choice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new date below.
